Ennahda El Berkaneh Club faces the Royal Army in the African Champions League semi-final
Al-Nahda Club FC qualified for the semi-finals of the African Champions League, today, Sunday, after defeating its host Al-Hilal of Sudan, 1-0, at the โAmahoro Stadiumโ in the Rwandan capital, Kigali, in the second leg of the quarter-finals.
The first half witnessed a great match between the two sides, with several successful attempts being scored, but the absence of the final touch prevented the result from being changed, so the first half of the match ended in a goalless draw.
In the second half, the match referee canceled a goal for Al Hilal of Sudan in the 54th minute, which was scored by Adama Coulibaly.
The 61st minute saw a missed penalty kick for Nahdet Berkane, after Mounir Choueir failed to translate it into a goal.
The last minutes of the second half witnessed a great rush by the Volcanic Renaissance, hoping to score the victory goal and ensure qualification, which was achieved in the 90th + 3 minute, thanks to a fatal goal by Mounir Choueir.
It is worth noting that the first leg ended, on the field of the municipal stadium in the city of Berkane, with a 1-1 draw between the two sides.
Nahdet Berkane Club qualified for the semi-finals of the competition to meet the Royal Army Club, which reached the same round after defeating the Egyptian Pyramids Club in the quarter-finals.
