Deschamps: “Bouadi has freedom of choice”

France's national team coach, Didier Deschamps, spoke about Ayoub Bouadi's file, after he announced the "roosters" list for the March gathering, in preparation for the friendly matches of Brazil on March 26 and Colombia on the 29th of the same month.

In a press conference, Deschamps touched on the situation of player Ayoub Bouadi, who was also not called up by the Moroccan national team, in light of the continuing uncertainty regarding his international future.

The “Roosters” coach confirmed that Bouadi has the freedom to choose the team he will represent, saying that he did not communicate with him directly, stressing that he does not intend to change his method of work.

He added that the player remains under supervision, but the competition is strong in the midfield, especially since he called up six players in this position, in addition to the presence of other names who have previously been among the “Roosters” and may return in the future.

Deschamps explained that he did not want to anticipate his future decisions, indicating that the resolution of this issue may become clear during the coming period, without confirming the possibility of summoning Bouadi to the upcoming gatherings.

These statements fall within the French national team's preparations for the upcoming World Cup finals, as the technical staff seeks to determine the players' readiness before the global tournament.
