Report: Al-Zalzouli in Enrique’s calculations
Paris Saint-Germain is seeking to sign Moroccan international Abdel Samad Zalzouli during the upcoming summer transfer period, as part of its plans to strengthen its attacking line before the start of the new season.
According to what was reported by the French “Sports Fir” website, the Parisian club’s management, led by sporting director Luis Campos and coach Luis Enrique, has placed the Real Betis winger among the most prominent names nominated to join the team.
The same source pointed out that Zalzouli, who is 24 years old, caught the attention of French club officials thanks to his performance this season, after he scored 5 goals and provided 5 assists with the Andalusian team, which made him comply with the standards set by the duo Campos and Enrique to strengthen the front line.
The Moroccan player, who participated with the “Atlas Lions” in several international tournaments, is one of the names that has a great margin of development, which makes him a candidate to take a new step in his career within a more competitive environment.
Despite the interest of other European clubs in his services, especially from the English Premier League, the player’s transfer deal is still within the reach of the Parisian club.
Real Betis had signed Zelzouli from Barcelona in the summer of 2023 for 7.5 million euros, while his market value is currently estimated at about 20 million euros, according to the Transfer Market website.
The French League champion is seeking to settle this deal early in order to enhance its attacking options and avoid other clubs entering the negotiating line during the summer Mercato.
