Rami advises Waadi with “the voice of the heart”
Former French international Adel Rami sent a poignant message to the rising talent Ayoub Bouadi, in light of the increasing talk about his intention to choose to represent the Moroccan national team at the expense of France and the media and public pressure accompanying his decisive decision regarding his international future.
Rami stressed in a speech on the “League 1+” platform that the decision facing Waaddi is not easy, recalling his personal experience in this context, where he said: “We talk a lot, but we do not realize how difficult and sensitive it is to make a decision like this. I experienced the same thing, and I remember that I was in my room thinking sadly, because the matter is not easy.”
The same spokesman pointed out the privilege that the young player enjoys by entering the circle of interests of two major teams, adding: "You are lucky because you have two wonderful countries that want you, France and Morocco, and few players have this opportunity. We know very well that the French national team is one of the largest teams in the world, and today Morocco is one of the most developed teams on the football scene."
Rami stressed that the decisive factor in such decisions remains primarily personal, adding: "The most important thing is not the pressure of people or the media, but the voice of your heart. Choosing between Morocco and France is like choosing between mother and father, but in the end we are talking about football."
Rami called on the player to make the decision that makes him more comfortable and brilliant, saying: "Choose the place where you feel happy and proud, and where you can be most useful. Whatever your decision is, respect it and give everything you have to the shirt that you will represent."
The former French international concluded his message by saying: "I am confident that you will succeed, because football is always for those who play honestly. The choice is difficult, especially since Morocco today is one of the most beautiful teams in the world. I wish you success."
