Nahdet Berkane Club tied with Sudanese team Al Hilal 1-1, on the field of the municipal stadium in Berkane, for the first leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.
The first half began with a debate between the two sides, as the two teams exchanged attacks after another in search of an early goal that would facilitate the task.
In the 13th minute, the visitors succeeded in opening the scoring through Abdul Razzaq Abdul Raouf, through a coordinated attack.
The “Orange” team tried to regain the result during the remaining minutes of the first half, but haste and lack of concentration prevented this, so the first half of the match ended with a slight victory for the Sudanese club.
During the second half, Nahdet Berkane put their weight on the Sudanese side in order to score goals.
In stoppage time, Nahdet Berkane won a penalty kick, which Mounir Chouier converted into an equaliser.
