Bilal Al-Khanous convinces Stuttgart, Germany
The German newspaper “Kicker” revealed that the Stuttgart club had activated the mandatory purchase clause in the contract of Moroccan international Bilal Khanous, after the player fulfilled the conditions agreed upon in the loan contract, to continue his career with the German team with a contract extending until the summer of 2030.
The same source explained that Al-Khannous’s participation in 30 official matches for Stuttgart this season made the purchase clause come into effect, which prompted the club’s management to finalize the deal with Leicester City, which owned the player’s contract.
The report indicated that Stuttgart will pay about 17 million additional euros to close the deal, after previously paying about 3 million euros in loan value, bringing the total amount to approximately 20 million euros.
The Moroccan national team player succeeded in providing good levels during the current season. He scored three goals and provided three assists in 18 matches in the German League. He also participated in the German Cup competitions, providing an assist, in addition to scoring five goals in nine matches in the European League.
In previous statements, the German club's sporting director, Fabian Wohlgemuth, praised the Moroccan player's potential, stressing that he has great qualifications to develop in the future, which prompted the Stuttgart administration to permanently confirm his contract and continue betting on him in the coming years.
