Amouta is on the cusp of returning to Wydad
The management of Wydad Sports Club has entered into advanced negotiations with national coach Hussein Amouta to take over the task of coaching the team in the coming period, as it is expected that an official agreement will be announced between the two parties within the next few days, if the two sides reach an agreement on all the details of the contract.
Hesport learned that this development came after coach Tariq Al-Saktiwi apologized for taking over the task of coaching Wydad, preferring to focus on training national teams rather than clubs.
Al-Saktiwi was among the names nominated to coach Wydad, but he preferred to continue his career with the national teams, waiting to determine his future within the national technical administration.
Hesport sources confirmed that Hussein Amouta has become the first choice to manage Wydad, especially since he has a long track record in training, and has previously led the team in two previous periods.
“Hesport” had previously confirmed in previous articles that the management of the “Red Club” had decided to keep Mohamed Amin Benhashem in his position at the present time, to lead the team against Olympique Safi next Sunday, in the first leg of the quarter-finals of the African Confederation Cup, until the issue of his compensation is resolved.
