The World Cup reaches 15 red cards.

The "2026 World Cup" witnessed 15 red cards, the last of which was shown to Argentine midfielder Enzo Fernández after receiving a second yellow card for a strong challenge against Spanish defender Pau Torres during the final match of the tournament today, Sunday.

The list of players who were sent off included English defender Jarell Quansah, Belgian defender Nathan Ngoy, Bosnian defender Tarik Muharemović, Uruguayan midfielder Agustín Canobbio, and Ecuadorian defender Piero Hincapié.

Also sent off during the World Cup that concluded today were American forward Folarin Balogun, Paraguayan midfielder Miguel Almirón, Mexican defender César Montes, and Swiss forward Breel Embolo.

The same list included South African duo Themba Zwane and Sphephelo Sithole, as well as Iraqi defender Rebin Solaka, Qatari duo Hamam Ahmed and Asim Madibo, in addition to Argentine Fernández.
